(Melanocyte Stimulating Hormone).  It is in the melanocytes that melanin (Greek “melas”=black) is produced.  Melanin is somewhat analogous to chlorophyll in plants.  What a lot of people don’t realize is that melanin is also related to fertility.  Those with pigmented skin have the highest counts of melanocytes in the genitalia and nipples.  The pigmentation in these areas can be influenced by sex hormones like estrogens and androgens.  During pregnancy, the nipples, face, and abdominal wall become darkened.  These areas of increased pigmentation during pregnancy are due to the increase in the production of estrogens. Anthropologists try to account for the fact that the genitalia are darker by suggesting that protection is needed against ultraviolet radiation damage, and has been thus evolved through natural selection.  This means that protection of the genitalia against forces that may prevent reproduction was needed.  Similarly, in this view, the pigmentation of the nipples during pregnancy would be a defense against ultraviolet radiation damage to the nipples.  Supposedly, this type of protection would be needed while breast-feeding during the early evolution of humans in Africa.  According to Robins, 1991, darker pigmentation found in the genitals, may have evolved for the “protection of reproductive capacity”, in that the pigmentation protects gametes within the genitalia from ultraviolet radiation damage.  This is a direct result of why white people have the lowest birthrates of all people on the planet and are going extinct.  Their melanin deficiency is why their reproduction system does not work as efficiently as it should. Each person has a pair of alleles per gene, and at least eight genes that regulate melanin content in the skin.As for dominance. It’s true that, the active allele is dominant over the inactive one. But the inactive one is still present and can be passed on. As a result, children of black parents can, under the right circumstances be born lighter skinned. Black women carry the Eve gene because they are the genetic parents of all humanity. That’s basic biology.  White people won’t go extinct because of interracial relationships. Not in a reasonable time frame, anyway. But over time, environmental factors like those that are affecting the white tiger, white rhino, and the other albinoid species that are endangered around the world may lead to more and more people having only active melanin alleles to protect them from UV radiation, ultimately causing the extinction of people without protective melanin which is called Eumelanin!. Even if the human race were to become completely mixed, white individuals would crop up from time to time, as every time two individuals who were carrying the genes for it had children, on average one in four of their kids would be white. Let’s say a fifth of the population were carriers, then one in every hundred children would be white.Essentially, melanin is the fountain of youth,and the catalyst for all life production! Folate is needed for normal sperm production in men.High UV radiation causes folate to break down  . Not to mention Air pollution which causes millions of premature deaths every year, and there is growing evidence that it also has negative effects on male fertility. But of course the GOP doesn't fully believe in stopping climate change or expanding and investing heavily in renewable energy and electric vehicles, at least not yet. Your ability to withstand the potentially damaging effects of the sun's ultraviolet radiation depends on the type AND the amount of melanin in your skin. This present review also showed a  time-dependant (meaning increasingly lower levels over the 50 year period) decline in sperm concentration (-0.44×106/mL/year, 95% CI: -0.65 to -0.23; r = -0.473, P = 0.040) which accounted for an overall 22.17% decrease in past 50 years. Conclusions: This study brings to the forefront that sperm concentration among Asian men follows a mild declining trend over the period of 50 years although not as large as the 60% decline of European men it is most signifiant in lighter skinned Asian populations. It showed that semen quality of fertile Japanese men is comparable to that of the best in European regions as the best of Europe has seen only a 22% drop in sperm count.this supports a 2009 report that showed Japanese fertile men had a semen quality at the level of Danish men, who had been reported to have the lowest among investigated men in Europe at that time. The low level of semen quality of the fertile Japanese men may be due to lifestyle or other environmental factors; however, ethnic differences caused by different genetic variation or combinations cannot be ruled out by this study.   Black and melanated nations have seen no decline in birth rates but expanded growth globally.(research includes published European study (Jørgensen et al., 2001).Standard statistics (mean, median, SD, 5–95 percentiles and frequencies) were used for description (table 1). Such a rise would be not so much catastrophic, but apocalyptic.Scientists are working frantically to give melanin to white and non-melanated Asian populations or else they will cease to exist by 2100.The master enzyme in all this is tyrosinase. If the gene for this enzyme is defective, the result is a person with albinism, someone who makes no melanin at all. But the most remarkable discovery made by molecular biologists has been that most of us, regardless of skin color, have quite enough tyrosinase in our melanocytes to make us very black. In those of us without eumelanin (brown/black) who are pheomelanin dominant (white), something is preventing the enzyme from functioning at full capacity--and that seems to be a combination of two genetic mechanisms: a switch that causes the cell to make most of the tyrosinase in an inactive form, and a tendency to make a lot of inhibitors of the enzyme. In the body, the effects of either or both of these mechanisms can be modified by such environmental factors as exposure to ultraviolet light. People with albinism are highly sensitive to ultraviolet, which can easily damage skin and eyes,make one prone to many pre-natal diseases,premature aging,myopia and infertility.In animals, melanin comes and goes at the dictates of evolutionary pressures. It is reasonable to assume, then, that we humans have this molecule not because it makes us smarter but primarily because it helps us survive a variety of environmental conditions. Clearly melanin protects us from the ravages of ultraviolet light. Some of the most darkly pigmented people in the world, natives of the North Solomon Islands, almost never get basal cell carcinoma or melanoma, and if they do have melanomas, these tumors arise on the light-skinned soles of their feet. Caucasians in South Africa,Australia,The middle East,India, and South America have high rates of skin cancer which are doubling every year caucasians  living in Hawaii, have the highest documented skin cancer rate in the United States. The U.S. is at 1.8 and dependent on continued immigration to keep the white population growing ironically the anti immigration sentiments currently in the US are speeding up demographic decline and destabilizing the economy.
